| 摘 要： | 以江泽民同志为核心的党中央作出西部大开发的战略决策，有着重要现实意义和深远的历史意义，它可以推进我国的社会主义现代化建设，充分发挥社会主义制度的优越性，促进全国生动活泼政治局面的巩固和发展，全面加强我国的国防建设，进一步巩固我国的基本政治制度。
