体罚的危害与防治

体罚的危害是多方面的，既有显性的，也有隐性的；体罚对于身体的伤害不言而喻，但人们对于它对学生心理、学习、师生关系的不利影响，对社会危害的认识还未达到应有的高度。体罚禁而不止有多方面的原因，它与教师自身素质、学校教育管理、相关法律规定、传统文化有关。只有在认识其深刻危害和分析原因的基础上，教师、学校、社会协同一致采取有效措施。才能防治这一行为。

Harmfulness of Physical Punishment and its Prevention

It is self-evident that harmfulness of physical punishment, explicit or implicit, exists in many ways, especially physically. People, however, haven＇t adequately realized its harmfulness to students＇ psychology, study, relationship between teachers and students, and even the whole society. Reasons for failing to be prevented are connected with teachers＂ quality, schools＂ education administration, related laws and regularities, and traditional cultures. Only on the basis of understanding its severe harmfulness and analysis of its causes can the behavior be prevented by teachers, schools and our society that are unanimous in taking effective measures.
