银行业市场结构与经济绩效研究综述

本综述了国内外关于银行业效率研究的相关成果。在上世纪50年代，国外银行效率研究主要集中在银行规模及其结构对效率的影响方面；70年代以后，银行业的范围经济问题成为了另一个焦点。我国的相关研究始于上世纪90年代，由于我国银行业存在垄断与产权问题，因而相关的研究主要集中在银行业垄断、稳定、竞争及其对效率的影响上。相当多的研究结果表明，产权问题是目前中国银行业市场结构与商业银行经济绩效无关联的根本原因。

Market structure of banking industry and economic performance

The paper offered an overview of research on efficiency of banking industry at home and abroad. In 1950's, the research mainly focused on scales of banks and the effect of its structure on efficiency. The focus shifted to economic scope of banks in 1970's. The research in China started in 1990's, covering monopoly, stability and competition concerning the industry effects of these factors on its efficiency. After a survey of the current studies, it is held that the issue of property is the root cause of irrelevance between the market structure of banking industry and economic performance of commercial banks.
