| Abstract: | Online English news reports are necessary to be ap- plied to college English teaching as supplementary teaching ma- terials, which is an effective way of developing students＇ ability in listening, speaking and reading. The paper discusses how to make choice of online news reports and what steps to take when they are used as teaching materials. |
