终身教育 :使命、挑战与应对简

虽然建立完善的终身教育体系已经成为我国教育改革发展的重要目标，然而在现实中推进终身教育却面临诸多困难。而最大的困难则是人们对终身教育的使命和挑战的认识尚不到位，从而影响到终身教育体系建设的稳步推进。从哲学角度讲，终身教育根本使命就是为建设学习型社会服务，培养一种人人好学的氛围；而它所面临的最大挑战就是人们并未真正认识到终身学习的必要性，人们的学习自觉性还不高；应答这一挑战的根本策略只能从提升人们的学习乐趣着手，并采用适宜的激励措施。

On The Mission,Challenge and Strategy of Lifelong Education

Although recognized as a very important goal in the Chinese education reform and development, the construction of a perfect lifelong education system has met with much resistance in its execution. The biggest problem is that many people are unaware of the mission and challenges, which slows down the pace. Philosophically, the mission of lifelong education is to serve the construction of a learning-oriented society, in which everyone loves learning, while the challenge lies in that people do not yet possess the consciousness of lifelong learning. Therefore the fundamental strategy to answer this challenge is to initiate learning through fun coupled with appropriate incentives.
