| 摘 要： | 美籍华人作家哈金,获得美国国家图书奖等多项大奖,引起了评论界广泛注意。其作品《活着》讲了一个发生在中国特定发展时期的故事。作者通过剧烈的时间和空间转移、记忆的丧失和恢复体现了复杂的人际关系,从独特的视角审视了人们的需要、欲望及婚姻悖论。特定的环境中,不丰满的人物更凸显出故事情节的离奇,起伏跌宕,小说结尾令人深思。

| Abstract: | Ha Jin, the emergent Chinese American award- winning writer, earned his fame with his Waiting. Equally well written, his "Alive" tells a story in central planning China. Despite the rather flat characters, the plot is structurally gripping. Through drastic physical displacement, amnesia, and the regaining of memory, the story shows complicated human relations, and examines, from a unique angle, people' s need, desire and marital dilemma. The rather flat characters better contrast the mysterious theme, gripping plot, and thought-provoking ending. |
