| Abstract: | The 24 "Jieqi" is an important content of ancient Chinese scientific culture and has close relations with many traditional festivals.This paper is a tentative analysis of the translation of "Jieqi" and "Qingming" in cross-cultural communication.Based on translation versions in authoritative C-E dictionaries and relevant materials,the article,however,attempts to present new perspectives from the aspects of translation strategy and pragmatic effects. |
