明代中央王朝统治贵州的策略

明代中央王朝看到了贵州地理位置对稳定云南具有重大军事意义 ,故而将贵州纳入了直接管理。为了切实有效管理贵州 ,采取了以安抚为主 ,以剿杀而辅的手段。在具体管理过程中 ,不断加强儒家文化的渗透 ,从而实现其“以夏变夷”的王化目的。但是贵州在全国的地位仍处于次要地位 ,当中央王朝遇到其他重大问题时 ,往往放松对贵州管理力度。

The Tactics of Ming Dynasty to Govern Guizhou

In Ming Dynasty, Guizhou province was subject to the direct rule of the central government owing to its great military value to stabilize Yunnan province. In order to effectively administer Guizhou, the government had adopted the policy of mainly appeasing the people while making suppression subsidiary. In the course of governing, Confucian culture was infiltrated in such depth as to obtain the goal of "transforming remote areas with central China". Nevertheless, Guizhou was regarded as secondary in importance in the eyes of the government, so when government met with other crisis, it relaxed its administration over Guizhou.
