摘    要:中国加入世界贸易组织将对社会的各个方面产生深远的影响,它给我国的大学英语教育教学带来一定的启示。文章从入世启示的角度,在对“语言输入”和“语言输出”分析的基础上,提出了如何优化大学英语教学的一些看法,即:输入与输出并举,提高英语应用能力;寓人文精神于教学之中,注重学生情商的培养,有关教材建设的一点建议;教师应该重视教学研究工作。

On the Optimization of College English Teaching from the Inspiration of China's Entry into WTO

Abstract:China's entry into the WTO will influence every social aspect in our country, and will also render some inspirations for college English teaching in China. By analyzing "language input" and "language output", this paper attempts to advance some proposals of how to optimize college English teaching from the inspirations of WTO entry.The proposals advanced involve emphasizing both language input and output to better students' use of English, incorporating human ideology into teaching and attending to the cultivation of students' sentiment, improving textbooks, and teachers giving priority to teaching research and so on.
