汉英个体量词性质比较

英语没有量词,但是在英语的名词词类里,有一部分名词却是具有汉语量词性质的。一般认为,英语不仅有与汉语的度量衡单位词和集体量词性质相当的词,还有与汉语个体量词性质相当的词,比如英语one sheet of paper一类形式里面的sheet等名词。本文认为,英语没有与汉语个体量词性质相当的词,英语的sheet等名词,是与汉语个体量词性质不同的词,它们是汉语集体量词性质的。本文从产生条件、用法、搭配规律等方面做了讨论,并且分析了英语sheet一类词被当成汉语个体量词性质词的原因。

The Comparison Between the Single Classifiers in Character in English and Chinese

There is no classifier, but there are some nouns considered as classifiers like Chinese ones in some noun phrases in English. It is generally thought that in English some words not only have the same character of classifiers used when measuring length, capacity and weight and group ones as Chinese words, but also have the charecter corresponding to the single ones in Chinese, like the "sheet" in "one sheet of paper" . In this article, it is thought that in English, there is no such words corresponding to the single classifiers as Chinese, and some nouns like "sheet" in English do not have the same character as the single classifiers in Chinese, but as the group ones . It is discussed how the nouns mentioned above are produced, how they are used and how they collocate with other words, and it is analysed the reason why the words like "sheet" are regarded as the ones having the same character as the single classifiers in Chinese.
