| Abstract: | Han Yu,a famous writer and philosopher in the Tang Dynasty,was an initiator of the Classical Movement.His article had a feature of sound reasoning,imposing manner,compact stucture and surccinct language.His Return Letter to Li Yi is a master piece in literary history.It makes an exposition of the relationship between a man and a writer,between actions and words,and of the importance of moral characters to being a man of letters.This article analyses the gist,the structure and the artistry of Return Letter to Li Yi . |
