France still takes French-speaking countries as his backyard and zone of influ- ence,though Africa has been independent for a half century,and often have a hand in their do- mestic affairs. The ＂Serval Action＂ has made a decisive success. What led to this action was Mali government＇s incapability of controlling the revolt,while a deeper motivation was to main- tain their priority in French-speaking African countries. Therefore France＇ s African strategy is of double layers：helping them to maintain peace is a ＂superficial motivation＂ while protecting their own interest is ＂an actual motivation＂. In other words,the ＂Serval Action＂ was an answer to Mall government＇ s invitation meanwhile it was also for their own interest.
