南北宋之交 ,陈与义有 5年多过的是避乱流亡生活。其间 ,他到过鄂西北的光化、房州、均阳等几个地方 ,前后累计历时 1年之久。此期的诗作 ,每被后来的地理著作在介绍鄂西北山川形胜时引用 ,也正是避乱鄂西北 ,特别是房州城遇虏 ,促使他南渡之后诗风日趋悲壮沉郁

The Refuge of CHEN Yu-yi in Northwest Hubei

CHEN Yu yi lived an exiled life for more than five years during the time of the Northern Song Dynasty and the Southern Song Dynasty. He once lived in Guanghua, Fangzhou, Junyang in Northwest Hubei for more than one year. His poems during this time, have been quoted to describe the beautiful natural sceneries of Northwest Hubei in some geography magazines. It was just because of his experiece there, especially his encountering the enemy in Fangzhou, the style of his works began to appear more and more solemn and depressed.
