| 摘 要： | 高等学校的艺术设计教育，传统上划分为理论教育和技能教育两大板块：在我国，人们习惯上重视技能教育，轻视理论教育。这对培养合格的新世纪艺术设计人才有着不利影响：本文论述了艺术设计理论教育对培养创造性思维能力与解决问题等能力的重要性，探讨了在我国艺术设计理论教育中存在的一些主要问题，在此基础上提出了一些如何加强艺术设计理论教育的建议：

| Abstract: | Traditionally,art and design education in many higher education institutions has been characterized by a split between the teaching of theory and practice.In China attention has been directed in to the teaching of practice.Therefore this paper discusses the importance of teaching design theory,then explores the problems existed in China's higher education of design theory and give some suggestions on how to improve the design theory teaching. |
