佤族丧葬习俗的文化背景与社会功能

运用文化人类学的整体观和功能论的理论方法，对佤族的丧葬习俗进行较为系统的分析。文中从自然环境的生存法则、原始宗教的灵魂观念和天人合一思想的作用等三个方面解读佤族丧葬习俗所依托的文化背景，归结出佤族丧葬习俗所承栽的伦理教化功能、调整社会关系功能和生态环保功能等三项社会功能。

The Cultural Background and Social Function in the Wa Funeral Customs

In the light of the holistic view of anthropology and the social function theory, the author analyzes the funeral customs of the Was and explains the funeral customs in three aspects based on the cultural background, the natural survival rules, primitive religious conception about the soul as well as the unity of heaven and human beings. From the analysis, the author concludes that there are three social functions in the funeral customs, that is the ethical educational function, the social adjustment function and the ecological protection function.
