略论卢前《中国戏剧概论》的贡献与不足

卢前的《中国戏剧概论》是我国戏曲研究史上一部较早的著作,在戏曲研究史上具有多方面的贡献：清晰地勾勒了中国戏曲发展的历史;以文化进化的眼光,从观众的心理来看待中国戏剧的发展;摒弃文人偏见,以宽容的心态将地方戏＂花部＂纳入了学术视野;关注到了中外戏剧的交流;对一些有关戏曲的学术概念作了辨析,推进了人们对戏曲的认识。当然,作为一部初创时期的著作,它也有一些不足：述多论少,有罗列名单、堆砌资料之嫌,一些章节缺乏新见;作为一部戏剧通史,还缺乏整体性、系统性;书中有少数错厄的论述。

On the Merits and Demerits of Lu Qian's General Introduction to Chinese Drama

Lu Qian’s General Introduction to Chinese Drama is an early book in Chinese dramatic history.The merits of this book are showen in the following aspects： it sketched the history of Chinese drama;it considered the development of Chinese drama from the perspective of audience;it paid attention to the communication between Chinese and western drama;it clarified some con-cepts in drama study.As an early book on drama,it has many demerits at the same time such as more summary than comments,more lists of names than novelty,lack of integrity and system with several mistakes.
