The Construction Theory Applied to the Teaching of Business English Reading

Following the rapid development of science and technology,more and more new teaching concepts are introduced into teaching English. The Construction Theory is one of the important one.In this paper,the Construction Theory is the theoretical basis to discuss the relationship between teaching and learning in new era.Take Business English(BE) reading class as an example,detailed models of Construction are discussed in the teaching of BE reading,and then explore ways to improve the initiative and participation of students in class,thereby enhancing the student's independent learning ability.The article is supposed to give some enlightment to BE teaching reform,and explore ways to train complex and qualified personnel to take up business English in future.
