A Contrastive Analysis on the Application of Communication Strategies

An experiment explores the relationship between Chinese students' En glish proficiency and their communication strategy selection, and the findings o f the research reveal that both the frequency of the communication strategies an d the types of communication strategies employed by Chinese EFL students are inf luenced by their English proficiency level. So it is possible to improve their c ommunicative competence by developing their communication strategic competence.
