| Abstract: |  A (Advanced) Level grades are used as part of the selection procedure for entry to university study in England. This article reports on an analysis of the correlation between A level grades and degree results using data on graduates in 1979.The author is an economist at the Department of Education and Science. The views expressed in this article are his own and do not necessarily reflect those of the DES. |
