Multiple Interpretation on and the Reader's Perspective of "Lolita"

Vladimir Nabokov's Lolita has always posed a challenge to the literary hermeneutics.The interpretations on the novel range in meaning and structure from such themes of time and desire,morality and amorality,to such postmodernist expressive devices as irony and parody,and the aesthetic value of narrative hilarity.To approach Lolita from the perspective of multiple interpretations,this paper touches on the strife between interpretation and anti-interpretation.And then with the help of a reader's perspective,it demonstrates the inevitability and coherence of multiple interpretations.
