| Abstract: | This paper first introduces the historical background of ecological footprint analysis and its methods of calculation,and reviews the research progress in this field at home and abroad.Then it gives some overviews on the advantages of ecological footprint analysis as well as its weaknesses in sustainable development evaluation.Finally,the research directions in the future are put forward. |
