| Abstract: | During Revolution of 1911, Yuan Shikai grabbed the state power by making use of Wang Jingwei, wooing and corrupting the revolutionary party members, and moderating the conflicts between the south and the north power. Wang Jingwei, however, was so deceived by Yuan Shikai that he hoped to overthrow the Qing Dynasty and realize the public regime with the help of Yuan. In conclusion, the two sides were in the relationship of making use of each other. |
