| 摘 要： | 邓小平是从经济方面来界定社会主义本质的。这是社会主义的核心内容．是对马克思主义理论的创新和发展。社会主义本质理论随着时代的发展而不断发展。在大力建设社会主义政治文明的今天。应该把民主上升为社会主义本质的重要内容。从而使社会主义本质的理论更加完善。只有这样，才能推动社会主义民主政治实践不断发展。

Today when we are striving for political civilization, democracy should be accepted as an important content of socialist essence. Thus, the theory of socialist essence would be perfected. |
