| 摘 要： | 英语俚语是一种不规范的语言变体，在现代英语中的地位日渐上升，其构成形式主要有旧词新义、缩短词、合成词和词缀法，其语言特征主要表现为新颖时髦、幽默生动、简洁明了、富于韵律。分析英语俚语的构成规律和语言特征，可以提高阅读和欣赏英语语言的能力。

| Abstract: | English slang develops quickly and gets popular in modem English as an informal language variety, which enhances English language＇s status gradually and accepts for the public. ？It makes up of neology, curtailed words, compound words, and affixation. Its language characteristic is mainly novel fashionable, humorous vivid, simple and brief, rhythm and so on. This article makes a discussion from two aspects including English slang＇s constitution and the language characteristic, thus enhances our abilityof reading and appreciation language. |
