中国和平崛起，世界瞩目。“中国模式”、“北京共识”，不胫而走。这些都不过是西方的用词。作者宁愿以“中国道路”来标示中国和平崛起的道路。“中国道路”是中国特色社会主义现代化的道路，是使中国融入世界和参与经济全球化进程的道路，是以发展经济为中心并且以渐进、增量、积累的方式使经济政治体制的改革实现软着陆的道路。这是一条成功的道路，史无前例。“中国道路”需要继续开拓，当前需要进一步完善社会主义市场经济体制，转化经济发展模式，发展循环经济；进一步深化政治体制改革，铲除腐败；推动和强化国家的软实力建设。

That China has grown indisputably successful has earned the global recognition for the special Chinese way, or Beijing consensus, the terms that are well known in the west. This paper offers a pleasing paean to the Chinese special way of progress in perspectives of the economic growth, socialist modernization, increasing global influence and international reputation, the steady and stable realization of the transformation of economic and political systems. The Chinese way is an unprecedented and successful way, which still needs further drives to improve in the economic construction, market system, corruption eradication, and the building of all-round strength of the nation.
