信息贫困是21世纪的新型贫困,在中国的信息化进程中,东、西部地区的信息化差距正日益扩大。由于大众传播技术和手段的落后,陕南农民在信息革命和网络革命中被逐渐边缘化,形成新的信息贫困和知识贫困人口,造成贫困状态的长期持续。在西部反贫困战略中,大众传媒应有积极作为。

A Survey of Mass-media in Rural Areas of Southern Shaanxi

The poverty in information is a new type of poverty in 21st century,and in the increasingly information-oriented China,the gap between the western and eastern parts of China is widening.Because of the poor means and technology of mass-media in southern Shaanxi,farmers there are gradually marginalized in the revolutions of information and networks,forming a new group suffering from the poverty in information and knowledge,hence lengthening the poverty status.Mass-media should play an active role in the campaign against poverty in western China.
