| Abstract: | Meng Tiaoan's Notes on Poets & Poetry is written by Mr Qian Zhonglian, one of the famous modern Chinese scholars. In the book, the author has made a systematic discussion of the well - known poets and their poems since Qing Dynasty, introducing and examining a lot of works with historical value. And the book itself embodies Mr. Qian's aesthetic criterion of poems and because of its great academic value it is also a must for one to make a study of Qing Dynasty's poems and Mr. Qian's poetic theory. |
