大观园：梦幻中的江南庭院理景

大观园面积不大,周围（即周长）三里半。设计工程师是胡老名公。造价五万两银子。其建筑艺术在于运用长短、曲直、大小、高低、虚实、明暗、凹凸、动静等手法,对园林的平面和空间采取曲折变化的布局,或分、或隔、或借,用山石、林木、水池、游廊、亭台、曲桥等等,组成种种美景,把人文理念和园林景物妙巧的融为一体,是优美的江南理景。但是大观园是虚构的,只存在于《红楼梦》中,关于大观园的南北之争没有意义。
