| 摘 要： | 明隆庆年间,明朝对蒙古的政策发生了重大转变,封贡互市,化干戈为玉帛,从根本上改变了明朝北边防御的面貌。在这一转变的过程中,时任内阁首辅的高拱做了出色的工作,改革兵部及边镇吏治,储养边才,把握把汉那吉事件契机,达成＂隆庆和议＂,使数十年刀兵相见之北边成为明蒙互市、两族和平交往的乐土。其功惠及当时,垂训后世。
