| 摘 要： | 意象是诗歌的灵魂,诗歌的美必须通过具体可感的意象才能表现出来。以英诗作为研究对象,通过分析意象的三大功能——描绘功能、抒情功能和象征功能,阐明了在英诗鉴赏的过程中,只有从意象入手,弄清其功能和作用,才能领悟诗人的意图,达到欣赏的目的。

| Abstract: | As image is the soul of poetry,the beauty of poetry is supposed to be presented by concrete images.Through analyzing the main three functions of image——depiction,lyricism and symbolism,this paper aims to illustrate that in the process of appreciating English poetry,only by understanding the functions of image can readers comprehend the poet's intention and fully enjoy the beauty of poetry. |
