A Meagre Opinion on Teaching An Introduction to Linguisties

An Introduction to Linguistics,which features specialization,fundamen tality and theorization,is a compulsory course for Chinese Language and Literature Major students of Chinese Department in institutions of higher learning.The author puts forward the three following noteworthy aspects for discussion in the light of the study and practice of this course:1.combination of the teaching of linguistic theory with the practice of study on Chinese;2.unity of the teaching of linguistic knowledge with the development of research ability;3.harmony of teacher's leading role with students' subjective role.
