The integration of adult education and distance education,owing to a great leap in the development of the Internet and the modern information technology,has formed a kind of adult education pattern and means commonly adopted by various universities.Being out of the fetter of the traditional classroom and beyond the limitation of space and time are the chief advantages that adult distance education is characterized with,nevertheless,it has not deserved its good fame yet,because the adult learners have been up a stamp,regarded as＂false corns＂by some skeptics.Perhaps it would be helpful to the progress of such kind of education if we make a reasonable analysis of the arguments put forward by these＂bystanders＂and further explanation and recognition about adult distance education.
