| 摘 要： | 从认知的角度来看,英汉语中的水的隐喻在表示液体、平淡、思想/交通/时间/金钱、标准、态度、虚假、问题/困难/危险等方面是共同的,而汉语中还用水隐喻纯净、明白、力量、条件、情感、心境、人性,英语中则没有这种隐喻。而英语则用水隐喻严密、求真。英汉语中水概念隐喻投射这种同异共存,同中带异的特点源自于两个民族传统哲学、文化和民族个性差异。

| Abstract: | From the cognitive perspective,this paper systematically analyses and compares the mapping scope of ＂water＂ metaphor in both English and Chinese,and an attempts to verify the ideas of the previous scholars on this issue on the basis of corpus data,and make some complements to the incomplete findings. |
