论严复科技伦理思想

严复是近代西学的倡导者，他高度赞扬科学技术的作用，认为科学技术必须造福于人类，利国利民，而不能成为战争的工具，强调人类应讲求科技合作，以促进科技发展，指出探索科学必须具备学术自由的道德环境与实事求是和开拓创新的道德品质。

On the Scientific Ethic of YAN Fu

YangFu,who advocated western learning in 19th century China ,thought highly of the role science played in the evolution of society. He argued that science should be developed toward the goal of bringing well being to human beings instead of becoming the tool of wars. He also pointed out that the development of science must be guided by a matter of fact ethic through means of cooperation in a free academic enviroment.
