从西学普及的地域差异看江浙士绅的近代演变

本以江浙地区为背景，把士绅近代趋变之一-转向“新学”这一变化纳入以上海为中心和首位城市的近代长江下游区域城市等级网络体系中加以考察，从人与环境（城市近代化）互动的角度揭示晚清学绅演变的林林总总及其对新式教育普及的影响，从中折射出晚清士绅鱼龙混杂、传统与近代化交相辉映的历史画卷。

The Gentry''''s Modern Change in Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces Viewed from the Regional Difference in the Spread of Western Learning

Taking Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces as the background, this paper puts the gentry's change of learning the western knowledge in modern times into the hierarchical network of cities in the lower reaches area of Changjiang River, in which Shanghai was the core city, sees the whole picture of the gentry's change in modem times and influence on the spread of modem education from the relationship between human being and its surroundings ( urban modernization), and refracts the historical scroll painting of passing off fish as dragon and setting tradition each other off modernization between the gentries in late Qing Dynasty.
