Sartrean Idea of Freedom Embodied in Catch-22

Freedom and responsibility is one of the important propositions of Sartrean Existentialist Philosophy, which is convincingly embodied in Catch-22 through the main characters Orr and Yossarian. They are sober-minded in the absurd situation and have done something folly to keep themselves alive. At last, they choose to desert, a moral and responsible action, not only to keep themselves alive but also to set an example for others.
