| Abstract: | In the novel Dust Settled, Alai, the winner of th e Fifth Mao Dun Prize for Literature, unfolds a legendary chapter of the T ibetan cul ture. From a humanistic angle,this paper analyzes the leading character,the Sec ond Master Idiot, and reveals the dialectic relation between power and desire, love and hatred, life and death. |
