| 摘 要： | 契诃夫完成于1903年的剧本《樱桃园》可以视为20世纪现代戏剧的开端。在戏剧中,作家借助于一个“樱桃园的易主与消失”的故事,采用打破传统的艺术手段的方式揭示了当历史的脚步总是前行、时代在按着历史的法则前进时,人类不得不面临许多痛苦,不得不与一些美丽但陈旧的事物告别,不得不去抉择物质和精神在人们生活中所拥有的比重这样一个现代意蕴极其深厚的主题。
