| 摘 要： | 在英语交际中有时会碰到一些表达两种或者更多不同意义的语句,这就是英语的歧义语句.歧义语句往往给语言的精确表达和信息传递造成困难.然而歧义不完全是一种消极的语言现象.利用语言结构内部的矛盾所产生的歧义表达各种各样的感情,取得特殊的修辞效果,这是英语歧义的积极作用.

| Abstract: | We often encounter some unclear sentences or expressions which have two of more meanings when using English to communicate.This kind of sentences or expressions is called ambiguh Ambiguity usually makes exact expression of language and information transmit difficult. Iloweven Ambiguity is not always a negative language phenomenon.lt can express many kinds of feeeings and therefore get special rhetoric effect.This is the positive function of ambiguity. |
