| Abstract: | In addition to the exchange of students and teaching and research staff, co‐operation among administrators in institutions of higher education is an essential part of inter‐university co‐operation. The following article is based on the ‘findings of a study concerning the situation of the administrative staff in institutions of higher education in the countries of the European Economic Community (EEC) and the need of international cooperation in this field.
