| Abstract: | The paper conducts a survey into the Chinese language prevailed in Xinjiang from the perspectives of the historical development, the ethnic culture, and so on, pointing out that the Xinjiang variant of Chinese language is characterized with its mixed multi-dialectal levels, the broad distribution of Beijing Mandarin Dialect in Xinjiang, the different dialects used by Hui and Han nationalities, and many ethnic languages mixed together, etc. |
