中英文化差异及习语翻译问题

语言与文化密不可分，文化差异形成了翻译的障碍，造成了翻译问题，其中，习语翻译是比较突出的问题。一般来说中英文化差异来源于以下五个方面：历史和典故，地理位置和自然环境，风俗和习惯，社会、政治和经济制度，宗教信仰。在翻译教学和翻译实践中，充分考虑文化因素，消除文化障碍，减少误译，提高翻译质量。

China's English language language difference and idiom translation question

Language and culture are closely related,the difference between languages forms translation barriers,hence the translation problems,among which,the idiom translation is comparatively prominent. Generally speaking,the difference between Chinese and English comes from the following five aspects:history and allusion;geography and surroundings;custom and habits;society,politics and economic system;religious beliefs. In the teaching and practice of translation,we should consider the culture factors,try to remove the culture barriers,to cut down the false translation and improve the quality of translation.
