| 摘 要： | "洞庭"之名早在先秦典籍中就时有出现,但是意义不完全一样,也不一定是同指一处。先秦两汉时期洞庭湖体还处于"渊"、"泽"的阶段,"尚相当窄小",应该还不会有"洞庭湖"之称。随着后来环绕君山的所谓"洞府之庭"形成了一个大的湖泊,洞庭湖名逐渐形成并开始固定。洞庭湖之名在湖南的出现,则可能是先民在迁徙过程中发生了地名的移位。

| Abstract: | The name "Dongting" had already appeared in the books of the pre-Qin Dynasty,but was of different meaning.During the pre-Qin and the Eastern and Western Han Dynasties,Dongting Lake used to be a abyss,rather small and narrow.So it couldn't be called Dongting lake.Later around Junshan,there formed a large lake.Hence the name "Dongting Lake".Due to the migration of the early people to Hunan,they brought with them the name "Dongting Lake". |
