英汉民族思维模式差异对中国学生英语写作的影响

摘    要:中国学生英语写作在句法层次和语篇层次上普遍存在一些问题,这跟英汉民族不同的思维模式有关。我国的英语教学应当在重视语言知识教学的同时,加强文化背景知识的传授,帮助学生在英语写作中增强跨文化意识,更好地克服母语思维的影响,用英语准确地表达、传递思想。

Abstract:There exist some common errors at the syntactic and discourse level of Chinese EFL students' English compositions, which mainly results from cultural thought patterns differences in Chinese and English. This paper suggests that the English Teaching in China be aimed at imparting not only the knowledge of English language but also the knowledge of different culture, and that the instructor try to increase the students' cross-cultural awareness in their writing.
