摘    要:改革开放以来 ,我国高等教育改革和发展经历了恢复发展 ,加速发展 ,积极发展 ,大力发展四个阶段。本文从历史学、社会学、经济学、政治学、教育学等多学科角度研究高等教育的改革和发展 ,指出改革开放以来 ,我国高等教育走出了一条超常规、跨跃式、内涵外延交互发挥作用 ,促进规模、结构、质量、效益协调发展的道路。今后几年 ,我国高等教育发展仍将以外延发展为主 ,跨越一个大的台阶后 ,内涵与外延并举 ,实现高等教育可持续发展

Abstract:After the Chinese Government adopted the police of opening up to the outside world, the reform and development of Chinese higher education has undergone four stages: recovering development, accelerating development, positive development and energetic development, and blazed a path characterized by the unconventional and spanning over progress, the mutual role play of connotation and denotation, and the well coordinated development of size, structure, quality and benefit. In the years to come, the development of Chinese higher education will continue to focus on the expansion of denotation and then promote simultaneous development of connotation and denotation after striding on a big step, so as to realize the sustainable development of higher education.
