与国外相比中国城市马拉松赛事开展的时间较晚，对举办城市马拉松的热情和马拉松文化的普及相对落后。本文主要运用文献资料法和逻辑分析法，通过搜集历年来我国举办马拉松城市的相关资料，分析了城市马拉松赛的项目特征、文化特征和安全保障措施。对中国城市马拉松赛的发展提供了一些建议。
