The pursuit of peace of the Olympic games

Reviewing the course of ancient Olympic games to pursue the peace, this paper proved modern Olympic movement takes pursuing peace as its duty from the day of emerging. Though meeting with the threat of the war in its development from time to time,the faith of pursuing peace has not been changed. The Olympic Movement has made remarkable contribution to the human peaceful cause. It is believed that through joint efforts of the people all of the world,the future of Olympic movement will make the war far away from the mankind,and the holy fire will replace the flames of war.
