从丧葬礼仪看中西方死亡文化中的宗教因素

自人类文化生成以来,死亡概念的形成与确立就是一道无法逾越的迷思,千百年来,各种宗教都对死亡做出了解释,试图安抚人们对死亡的恐惧。然而由于中西方文化发展模式的差异,宗教在中西方死亡文化中的影响及其表现呈现出极大的不同,这一点尤其体现在死亡仪式——葬礼上。本文以丧葬礼仪为切入视角分析了中西方死亡文化中的宗教影响、其不同表现以及造成该差异的原因。

Religions in Chinese and Western Culture of Death from the Perspective of Funeral customs

Since the beginning of human culure,the understanding of the concept of death has been a problem which puzzles the world.For thousands of years,many religions tried to explain the penomenon of death with the purpose of easing people s fear of it.And this is shown in Chinese and western culture of death.However,because of the different mode of cultural development,the influnces and expressions that religions make in Chinese and western culture of death are quite different,which is extremely reflected in their funeral customs. This text analyzes the different religious influnces in Chinese and western culture of death and the causes from the perspective of funeral customs.
