东林书院与东林党浅析

东林书院本为起于民间的学术机构,它的数位发起人,以儒家正统自居,为整合明末芜杂的思想体系作出了努力。东林人自称非党,却在国家的政治生活中起着重要作用。因此而引起的党争,延续至南明。书院的兴废更与东林人的命运密不可分,成为显示朝廷政治势力消长的晴雨表。

A Brief Analysis on Donglin Academy of Classical Learning and the Donglin Clique

Donglin Academy of Classical Learning,originated as an unofficial academical institution and founded by several scholars who claimed themselves as orthodox Confucianists,made some contributions to the integration of ideological system which had been mixed and disorderly in the late Ming Dynasty.Although declaring that they belonged to no political cliques,the scholars in Donglin played an important role in the political life of the country.However,the disputes,resulting from their declaration,among cliques continued until the Southern Ming Dynasty.The rise and fall of Donglin Academy,closely associated with the fate of this group of people in Donglin,was indeed the political barometer of the growth and decline of the political.
