摘    要:作为勒白朗笔下的经典形象,亚森罗苹是以福尔摩斯的对手-“盗贼”-的身份出场,一诞生便引起轰动。但文化差异使得中国对亚森罗苹的译介及接受经历了一段漫长的时间,其间,印刷资本的商业运作对亚森罗苹在中国的接受发挥了不可小觑的作用。大东书局通过广告、文本阐释以及译介中的“归化”策略等一系列方式,使其从最初的“剧贼”、“侠盗”再转换为“义侠”,成功“归化”。在得到读者认可的同时,中国的“亚森罗苹”-鲁平-随之诞生。

From“Thief”,“Chivalrous Thief”to“Knight-errant”:Arsene Lupin’s Acceptance in China

Abstract:As the classic image of Leblance M, Arsene Lupin is a thief, who is the opponent of Holmes. His emergence caused a sensation. However, Chinese translation and acceptance of Arsene Lupin experienced a long time because of cultural differences. Business operation of printing capitals played an important role for Arsene Lupin’s acceptance in China. Daito Bookstore rendered Arsene Lupin f rom“Thief”,“Chivalrous Thief”to“Knight-errant”by a number of ways, such as advertisements, text interpretations and“domasticating”of translation, which made him“domasticated”successf ully and accepted by the Chinese readers. Almost at the same time, Lu Ping, the Chinese“Arsene Lupin”, came into being.
